Brian Boddy is a distinguished optical industry expert with over three decades of hands-on experience in eyewear, lens design, and optical laboratory innovation. He is the creator of a proprietary brand of freeform progressive lenses and the originator of the Boddy Formula, a modern alternative to Vogel’s Rule for digital lens design. Brian has led groundbreaking advancements in lens surfacing, including being the first in New Mexico to produce digital freeform lenses across all major materials and to implement in-house anti-reflective coating.
