WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO SEND IN MY OLD EYEGLASS FRAMES?

If you don't have back‐up eyeglasses, contact lenses, or just don't wanna part with your frames... write to us at info@replacementlensexpress.com. Our optometric lab has been collecting the most popular eyeglass lens templates since 1982, so there's a good chance that we can cut your lenses without requiring you to send us your frames. (Note: this is a good option if you have plastic frames.)  In this case, you will be responsible for inserting your new lenses into your frame, but we can guide you through this simple process. Replacement Lens Express is not responsible for any potential damage to your lenses or frames if you decide to do your own installation.

HOW CAN YOU SELL PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASS LENSES AT SUCH LOW PRICES?

Replacement Lens Express is affiliated with some of the oldest and best optometric labs in the United States. These labs have been fully operational for decades and incorporate Lean Manufacturing techniques to ensure the most efficient processes are used when making your prescription eyeglass lenses.  We also process high volumes of orders so that we are able to buy in bulk, reduce our overhead costs, and pass the savings onto our customers!  

NOTE: All lens prices are for a PAIR of lenses (e.g. one LEFT and one RIGHT lens). Please let us know if you only need one lens and we can adjust the price accordingly.

I'M NOT SURE WHICH LENSES ARE BEST FOR ME - HOW DO I DECIDE?

With so many options, it's no wonder why our customers are spoiled for choice!  Our opticians are standing by, waiting to answer all of your questions. Not sure if you need anti-glare coating?  Not sure how long it will take to get used to a no-line bifocal?  Contact us at info@replacementlensexpress.com to request to speak to an experienced optician.  We also have optometrists who can answer any of your medical questions upon request.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY ORDER AND RECEIVE MY NEW EYEGLASS LENSES?

Once we receive your eyeglasses in the mail, you will receive a notification via e-mail.  It should take about 48 hours to make your new prescription eyeglass lenses.  If you are in a hurry and would like to receive your eyeglasses sooner, please email us and we may be able to expedite your order, at no extra charge! (Note: Adding a mirror finish or coatings such as anti-glare may increase the turn-around time by up to a week or more. If your prescription is very large, this could also increase the turn-around time. Please inquire about your specific order if you have time-constraints.)

YOUR PRODUCT CATALOG DOES NOT OFFER A TYPE OF FRAME, LENS OR SPECIAL EFFECT THAT I'VE SEEN ELSEWHERE...

If you are aware of any products which are NOT listed in our extensive product catalog, we may be able to special order this product for you. We have access to all major optometric suppliers, so no product is out of our reach.

CAN I SIMPLY ADD EFFECTS TO MY EXISTING LENSES?

Of course! If you are happy with your current eyeglass prescription, but want to add a tint of violet, or perhaps a scratch-resistant coating, you can send in your lenses and we will update them for you. (That was easy!)

Can i just purchase uncut prescription lenses?

Certainly! Many of our overseas customers (especially in Russia, Singapore, and Hong Kong) ask us to send them the large blanks with their prescription in them, so that they can have them ground and fitted with a local optician. This saves our international customers time and money as they do not need to send us their eyeglasses for the fitting. Oftentimes the local lab will do the cutting and fitting for free, or for a very small cost and in the end, there is huge savings in going with this process. Please ask us if you have any questions regarding purchasing uncut lenses!

WHAT DOES REPLACEMENT LENS EXPRESS DO WITH THE EYEGLASSES THAT I SEND IN TO BE DONATED OR RECYCLED?

When our customers send in their old or unwanted eyeglass frames to be recycled or donated, we send them to a wonderful organization called New Eyes for the Needy. This organization has improved the eyesight of more than 7,000,000 people all around the world. New Eyes for the Needy is strengthened by its partnerships with social services and vision missions and Replacement Lens Express wants to help contribute to this great cause.

We feel so strongly about this charity that give our customers a coupon for Half Price Shipping towards their next order when they send in one or more frames for donation.  Even if you don't want to place an order right now, but have old eyeglass frames to send in, you'll receive a coupon towards your next Replacement Lens Express purchase. WHAT IF MY EYE DOCTOR WON'T GIVE ME MY PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION?

If you have paid for an eye exam and your doctor has determined your prescription, you have the right to access and/or take away this information. It is included in the cost of your eye exam. If you are uncomfortable asking your optometrist for your Rx, we can do it for you. Simply provide us with their name and phone number and leave it to us. (We will also need your full name and birthday in order to make this request on your behalf.)

CAN I SUBMIT A TESTIMONIAL AND APPEAR ON THIS WEBSITE?
